From an acclaimed ‘Fabric\n        presents’ album to popular releases and countless DJ awards, she\n        continues to push the boundaries of 160 beats per minute, interlacing\n        breakbeat, jungle and footwork.\n      \u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv> \u003Cdiv class=\"col-md-6 col-12 mt-3\">\u003Cp>\n        Loraine James has similarly made a name for herself, with support from\n        one the UK’s most renowned Dubstep and Bass labels, Hyperdub, who\n        released her debut album in 2019. The success of which\n        triggered a meteoric rise in her performance profile, allowing for a\n        full-time focus on music. Beyond this, she co-founded the label\n        Hooversound alongside BEAUTIFUL, a studio access initiative for black\n        and queer artists.\n      \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp class=\"quote\">\n        I’ve always resonated with electronic music, that's why I like it, and\n        hearing jungle from an early age, there’s clearly something about the\n        low-end base that really gets me, and I get it.\n      \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\n        2019 was also a pivotal year for Loraine James, which saw the release of\n        her acclaimed debut album ‘For You and I’, a selection of which she\n        performed live for 180 Fact. This was followed by a series of releases\n        that continued to build-on a unique genre-splicing approach to sound\n        design.\n      \u003C\u002Fp>\u003C\u002Fdiv> \u003Cdiv class=\"col-md-6 col-12 mt-3\">\u003Ch2>Uptempo attitude\u003C\u002Fh2> \u003Cp>\n        Sherelle’s DJ persona and production style is unequivocally energetic.\n        Inspired by a background in rave and dancehall, she brings multiple\n        influences to her sets, which pulse and weave between heavy Jungle\n        breaks, 90’s-style Hard-House and chopped vocal Footwork.\n      \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\n        After establishing the Hooversound label in 2019, Sherelle began to\n        apply her tastemaker knowledge and passion for high octane underground\n        sounds to a career as a producer. Resulting in a 90’s rave throwback\n        with modern punch in “JUNGLE TEKNAH” alongside a fast techno hit dense\n        with melodic arps in “160 DOWN THE A406”. With Loraine’s technical\n          knowledge and Sherelle’s intuitive play, we get an insight into a\n          unique collaborative dynamic and production style. They share a\n          healthy attitude towards music production, with a focus on getting the\n          ideas down without overthinking things - resulting in a sound that\n          matches the moment.
